Can anyone suggest a software package that one can use to track OPM (other people's money) in an LLC that trades it for clients. I've looked at accounting softwares and come up short on many fronts. QuickBooks, Peachtree are limited. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

You are absolutely correct, you have my vote of confidence, what can we do now to speed the process or at least monitor it from our own standpoint. Even though the brokers you mention are aligned with the small trader, what do you think would be the best method to execute this scenario.

Accroding to Datek, and this is a repeat, i called them again to clarify since this post was started, they say that you have 2:1 margin if your account is less than 25k, you may take long positions and sell them as often as you like. The only thing you cant do is short. If you had 25k with...

Is it true that the only changes made from this rule are that one cant short, but you can still long with 2:1 margin, not the 4:1. And that you can buy and sell long positions till you knock yourself out and as many times you want. At least Datek seems to confirm this.

Yoda, In the case that one could find a broker that updated funds in real time, such as datek, then there would be no problem i assume. Is that how it goes.
