Not getting filled on OTC stocks

It filled eventually, somehow. The system might be bit strange, but the AIM market here in the UK is worse!

Not getting filled on OTC stocks

The fill price was slightly above my limit price, but I'm also seeing trade-through (other trades printing at prices that should have filled my order, but didn't).

Not getting filled on OTC stocks

Now filled in part, but at a different price to my limit price. I don't really understand how these OTC markets work.

Hmm. It still hasn't filled and I can see trades going through ABOVE my limit price.

Not getting filled on OTC stocks

I'm trying to sell some shares of an OTC name. My limit price is below the bid and the order is active (green) but it just sits there, not filling. Any ideas? Order was routed with SMART (OTCLNKECN). I tried ARCAEDGE as well but it didn't seem to help.

Why do options have only 2 decimals?

It's a real problem when an option is quoted 0.05 / 0.10 and the only way to get filled is crossing the spread.

BKKT, Thank you for the huge windfall today.

Volume is crazy on this thing. Feels like all the DWAC money has headed into BKKT.

    'Safe' shorting with protective calls?

Yes of course it's equivalent to an ITM put. But as JamesJ says, spreads are horrible on far ITM options, especially for the more interesting (less liquid) stocks. It gets very expensive if you trade in and out, or roll the position.

DWAC just wow... 11 to 27

I'm not really a day trader but couldn't resist buying at $18 yesterday with a stop at $17. Great trade, the only problem is I got scared and sold at $18.70 :banghead:

    'Safe' shorting with protective calls?

This feels like a timely topic in 2021. Say you short a stock and hedge with cheap OTM calls. Now in theory this a defined-risk trade, and with a PM account you shouldn't get margin called even if the stock goes up a silly amount. How safe is it really, though? "Clients holding short stock...
