You would just have to find the settles on the life of the contracts and chart it in excel... you are also going to need to find the contango environment that you are looking for, for each different year. going to be tough to get access to that data if you are daytrading from home.

if you were to sell those 1 million contracts the market doesn't have to go back to where you bought them. it could go way below or stay above If you sell to someone at 50. And then they offer it at 60 and someone buys it from them and then sells it back to you at 70. then the last price...

good bail. 47 cent crude stop is putting a huge amount of faith in your skill to nail the exact reversal point but if it works for you it works.
