You have to PAY for your background check ... and your exams? And you keep 80% of your profits even though you put up some of your own money? That's not an offer ... that's a sale. Is that normal? Top firms have nothing like that. I wonder if that's just for that group at Worldco.

Smokey, Don't assume everyone on this sight is green. I'm asking Silk because I'm being scouted by Worldco, and I want to know how things are run over there. Developing the skills to trade a 1000 shares is not my concern.

Thanks Silk. 10,000 shares in 6 months? That's pretty damn impressive ... that says a lot about your abilities. Was that recently or back in "the Days?" Did you have to use your ENTIRE share size in order to make the point that you needed more size, or was it enough that you were trading...

With what kind of share size do "established" traders work? By established, I mean people who've been there a few years.

Thug, how frequently can a consistently profitable trader expect to get bumped in share size at Worldco? I've heard people can get bumped weekly, if not daily, if they're profitable. Also, in what increments are the bumps? Some firms have ridiculous bumps, i.e. from 1000 to 1200 shares ...

Can someone at Worldco tell me how often the share-size bumps are at Worldco? How long would it take for a profitable trader to go from 1,000 shares to 5,000 or 10,000?
