Thanks JW...got some similar advice offline from dmo.
You both have me rethinking my trading of futures only.
I may have to start looking at combining both the futures
and options...I was traveling most of the last 5 weeks
and although I was confident in the ZB dropping...it sure felt good...
Please...some honest advice..no insults
I dont trade options, but did this one time
I bought a ZBH9 138 put several weeks ago at 3 15/64
With the future currently at 128 12/32.......
The bid is 5 x 7 22/64 ask is 5 x 9 63/64
With the intrinsic value well over 9....am I pretty...
Dont do it!....One example I can give you is from my own experience
I had 2 individuals and 2 married couples contribute 5k
each, along with my 5k....after the first month we were
up just over 10%
Immediately one couple wanted their $5500 to put
a down payment on a truck..
One individual...
jimmyrey.....good move
I went beyond that...I made them my ex-broker...
and never regretted it
as usual..they're probably telling everyone they
will be up in a few minutes
was watching the bailout vote on c-span
went short 2 ES @ 1160 when it started to look
like a failure....less than 2 minutes later I
click on the DOM to buy back at 1149.75 so I can
lock in 1k profit....got filled at 1146......were those
fast markets or what?
Wasnt feeling so...
So is 5 years really the new deadline? If that's true, I'm probably
ok with that. That's plenty of time for the CME and others to
develop alternatives (outside of the US) that may actually be
better for us than what we have now.....
American ingenuity isn't dead yet.....These giants...
the scary part is the statement in paragraph three:
"speculators and investors who are principally responsible
for having caused this avoidable financial crisis"
OMG .....where do you start??....they cant all be that
clueless...OMG
MBAgearhead......I respectfully disagree with you about the
amount of time ...I believe it was closer to an
hour.....but for me the problem was how they
handled it.....just like the last time they had...
