Ghost of If You Can Draw A Straight Line

Hello there, Why don't you suggest exiting the short at the break of the second supply line with around 10pts profit? As for me, it seems to be a strong reversal movement although it didn't even reach the 50% yet.

I think he entered at the very 1st RET which is the one before your circle when there was strength coming in rejecting the bottom with a BUY STOP. It's a "closing air pocket" day~

Yes, it's indeed right around 50% of the move now. It would be a different story if the Support line was at 3196-3195 area. 3200 made up a confusing situation for me. It's kind of like a double layer support for me, 3200 + (3196/3195).

Alright, let's get something done on this straight line matter. 3200 broken? Most people are still sleeping, that's why the price is not dropping like a waterfall after a RET? Edit : TZ difference again , 1800 = 10am GMT.

Aww, don't you sleep, db? Pre-market 6am - Location now : Ranging at the bottom of a trading range. Question, should the gap down be considered a weakness too? Anyway, have to see if this 3200 would hold. Great potential to go long from this support line. However, it's not my call.

Hmm, yeah. Somewhere around there with a 1 point difference. P/s: Suddenly notice that we should be posting more on the straight line matter? Considering the "title" of this "journal".

The price created a Resistance out of nowhere at 3186.5 and there were two attempts to the high which failed to surpass the previous one showing weakness.

Maybe the Futures is new to him but he has quite some experiences in trading though. Btw, today I didn't see a much clear entry.

2240? is that for a long entry? Thanks again, I will try to refine my plan and look for better entries.

Thanks for the comment, DB. Picture attached is what I saw during the session. Maybe I'm just looking for too tiny move.

Higher low and another one is a RET? Or is there any wrongful concept I'm having? P/S : Due to TZ difference the time is just 12 hours later of EST so it's basically the same 1053.

Alright, noted. Only one trade ..hmm.. okay. And just now just got another long entry at 1053 is it? I didn't manage to get this one anyway.

I should've BE by 1040 but then I'm holding it watching the price consolidating in front of my entry point and then I'm finally out at 1049. Basically it's the "hope" that causing me to hold for the extra time. Have to just exit when HL formed. Would need more mental practice.

1004 - RET more than 50%, I just can't take it. I'm out of the short. 1012 - Hinge is on duty now? 1018 - Hinge Break, RET and I'm in for short again.

Yeah, I saw the two low but I'm not confident enough to take that shot in such volatile and unclear situation. 1045 - Nearly a BO upside, huge supply up there.
