Has trading in US Interest Rate futures (ZB, ZN, ZF) switched to the front month contracts? When is their last day of trading? When do they officially switch to the front month contracts, so I don't have to ask again in the future. Thanks.

There has been no new quotes on ZB since around 10:10am PDT. Has the market halted, or is there an early close today, or IB's just gone dead on their ZB quotes???

I trade the electronic T-Bond futures, which moves quickly in the first 1.5 hours, so for those hours I use market to get in quickly, otherwise I will miss the opportunity. After that, I always use limit order (buy@bid, sell@ask) because my limit orders always gets filled when the market is not...

Yes I don't trade when the announcement is just about to come out or right after it, but 14 minutes AFTER the announcement and still no quotes? C'mon! That is still unacceptable.:mad:

What the heck happened with IB when the FED announced? There were no quotes whatsoever for ZB for a period of 5minutes!! My charting program was moving so there were trades going through, but there were none on TWS. IB, this is unacceptable!!! What is going on???

What do you mean?? I've got an AMD64 laptop which is much much cheaper than an Intel HT. It never crashes, never hangs, very stable, AND very cheap. It's awesome! Even when using Windows 32-bit OS on it, it still rocks! Can't wait until they come out with the 64-bit OS.
