Robert, Very interesting stuff, thank you. One factor that would account for at least part of the discrepancies is the OR that you are using - let me rerun the NLs with a 10 min OR and repost the results. Also, I've just sent you a PM, please take a look.

Robert, The 30NLs are as follows: EBAY 17 KRE 11 ORCL 18 Regarding the confirmation levels, I have to admit that I was a bit sloppy when I posted the list a couple of days ago. I ran the scan against Fisher's/Mav's 9 point confirmation level, but with the way my scores are calibrated...

Robert, This is based on automated scoring. The scan looks at all 8000 stocks in the US market, but filters for tradability (price, volume level) before determining the NL scores, so the actual stock universe analyzed is 500-600 stocks.

And these are the bad boys with a negative 30 day confirmation and high negative momentum (5NL -5 or worse): CVC GLD STRP UNP UNP is about to break the monthly A Down, so it'll be interesting to watch; maybe fade the retrace to the A Down?

Mav, This is my list of stocks with a 30 day confirm. It's handicapped and includes only stocks with a 5 NL of 5 or better. As mentioned in my reply to Hoop, my count deviates from yours somewhat, but probably still good enough as a starting point. ACM ADSK AMZN BBT BDX BIDU BOFI CMI COP EBAY...

Hoop, I've got a -2/-2/9 (5NL/mNL/30NL) line on it, so sort of lukewarm. My count is not exactly the same as Mav's, but in the ballpark. Having said that, I agree that the NL needs to be watched for a potential move up.

Mav, Long term lurker here. I can't thank you enough for everything that you have shared - I started following this thread in 2010 and the education has been invaluable. One of your quotes that has always stuck with me is that ACD is a lens through which we can see the markets. I can attest...
