Actually thinking about it, I never knew I could trade directly from MQT to IB. I always used MQT just for data streaming and charting, but always entered trade through their 'whatever is called' thing. Interesting.
Will new MT also be able to trade directly through IB?
My answer will probably not help that much, but I remember, for IB I had to go through some additional steps to get it work. Those steps are posted somewhere on MQT home page. You probably already did this, but just in case if you didn't, here are steps...

If I want to write my own indicator in new MT, what programming language I will need to know? Probably C, but which version exactly?

Jerry, since script language for paintbars will probably be harder for non programmers (C) would you please add possibility that paintbars would be easy exported/imported so users can share and exchange. I hope we will have again some forum where we will all hang out as it used to be.

The best thing about your QT is charts asset. There is nothing else in trading world (as far as I know and I tried) where I can get so many intra day...
