    Try to place the order simultaneously if your broker allows it. If not, I think it is better to buy the stock first. Otherwise, the required margin may be too high.

    I quite disagree that moving averages suck. They are quite good at confirming a trend. But they should not be the only indicators to use. Plus, common sense is always useful.
