Investor/RT will chart whatever data their supported data vendors will send. eSignal and DTN IQFeed send data on Forex, so therefore you can chart Forex in Investor/RT, including Market Profile charts. Here's an example of TUSDJPY (using DTN IQFeed to feed it)...

The problem with just "scrolling a chart" forward....the rest of the program is not staying in synch with your chart (Time and Sales windows, other charts, quotepages, data of other symbols, etc). In addition, any signals and alerts that your chart may be setup to trigger won't fire...

Yes, the I/RT P&F charts process every tick, so it captures every price traded.

The Investor/RT P&F charts run off tick data, so they don't miss any prices (all highs, lows, and everything in between), and therefore catch all columns/reversals.

There's no limit to the number of symbols I/RT can handle...the limit comes from the data feed you use to feed I/RT. Each one has a limit on the number of symbols you can monitor/track realtime (tick-by-tick)... and I think DTN IQ Feed has a limit of 1200 symbols, and eSignal maybe 1000. But...
