Let me be perfectly clear. I have no problems with belief in some creator, or god. Believe whatever you like. I have a very, very large problem when people use that belief in an attempt to hinder and discredit scientific progress.
Funny how these same theologians also have been incapable of observing one, just one almighty, omnipotent, omniscient being. If you'd like to debate with me, please try to avoid any logical fallacies. I'd be happy to have an intelligent conversation.

My argument here has nothing to do with religion, other than the fact that I find it absurd that theologians are so audacious as to attack science with such a weak basis, as they are prone to do. I wouldn't even have a problem with that if they didn't command such a large following that often...
You don't seem to understand. A theory can never be a fact; it is something that explains WHY something else happens. There will ALWAYS be a hypothetical scenario (no matter how outlandish) that, if true, would disprove the theory.
Scientific theories don't graduate to become anything else...

The word theory has a completely different meaning in science than in regular language. A theory is (for all intents and purposes) an observable and repeatable result of an experiment that has hypothetical scenarios where...
