I'm looking for a list of the highest volatility futures contracts - especially for US eastern time of 14:00 to 16:15. It seems most contracts open with good volatility but then tail off. Help appreciated. Regards, Nick

Depends on your strategy, but if daytrading I would suggest scaling in is not appropriate. I do multiples of 2 contracts. Opening a trade with both, and closing 1 at a set profit, the other at a momentum change. Looking at past profitability it can sometimes be the set target that saves me...

Thanks Filter - definitely worth a look at the other contracts. The mini I think has a worse commission than the HSI. My system trades very oftern - about 10 trades per hour, so that is a factor I have to bear in mind.

Just to close this: The emini is included in the free bundle. It turns out that they didn't think I had set up the data feed subscription. I just rechecked the option and now it works well. Thanks to those who gave advice

Well I subscribed to the free bundle - but when I logge in it only offers delayed quotes - unless I subscribe. It helpfully didn't point out to which is should subscribe.
