    Successful traders - sim practice?

Don't know about anyone else, but personally speaking i did about 3 months of profitable sim trading before going live. Overall, i did not really help me as i quickly learned that there is a BIG difference between sim and live.

$5.000 or less and offer Remote Trading

If you are in Canada and have a passion for the market and a drive to self educate yourself then i would definitely recommend taking a look at RTFM Capital. They meet all of the criteria you mentioned above and the people behind the firm are great as far as support and responsiveness goes.

Question about Day Trading buying power

Hey Stevie, to answer your questions: 1. Yes you can make multiple trades per day as long as each individual trade does not surpass 50k of course. 2. Typically the total is counted based on both cash and equities combined. Hope this helps.

    # of current daytraders...

My guess would probably be just over 100k although you can never be exactly sure. I personally trade full time and truly find that like most other things you get back what you put in.

    Las Vegas Sands (LVS)

I believe it was a good speculative buy at those levels ($2) you are already in the money with it trading for about $4.45 as of today. I bought long in LVS too back in Nov. for trading purposes and will hold at least half of my shares until they reach the $8 mark.

    will this rally sustain ?

Don't think the temporary rally will last, but co.'s are intrinsically undervalued at this point.

General Electric Corp. (GE) - Is GE Okay?

Personally, i like GE at this current level ($7-8) for a long position as i believe it is undervalued. It's P/E and P/S are extremely low, it has a long dividend record and it has a diversified revenue base (both categorically and geographically)
