    yes, commissions MUST be included in everything as they are a business expense. It's like a store owner saying "Well....I was profitable last year if you take out my rent payments" personally, I convert commissions to ES points when logging my results. I count each trade as -.1 ES points...

    just checked it out and although there is a video over the weekend I don't see any talk, analysis, or predictions for today (Monday). first glance made it sound like there was a video every night discussing the day and giving thoughts and predictions for the next day. confused

    but see the difference was that he had lots of trading experience and it was, as he puts it, a "sidekick account" meaning that even if he lost the whole thing I bet his life would not be altered in any significant way and his trading career would go on.

    Increasenow: look at it this way.....you mentioned possibly going 4 contracts on setups you are "sure" of. Let's say you take a 2pt stop loss on that trade. That is $400 plus commish so call it $423. on a $3,800 account you just lost over 10% of your account in 1 trade ?!?!?! What...

    let's also not forget that right off the bat, just by trading the ES you are leveraged in at 50-1 in relation to the cash index. That is what draws us in but just keep that in mind. All the extra leverage provided by low intra day margins is ON TOP of the built in 50-1.
