    Want What The Market Wants

My sister-in-law works at a "loonie" bin. She'd tell you that emotions are generally running higher during the full moon. And what about the waves. Have you observed any changes during a full moon? How about elliott waves? Might be fun to backtest. ;-)

    Want What The Market Wants

Not sure why I'm banned. No malicious intent. I put an email address in a post. Perhaps that's why. Haven't had time to contact the administrator. And have nothing to sell other than a long term eur$ position but am waiting for a 200 - 700+ pip retracement from 3/11/05 on the 1 hr...

    Want What The Market Wants

Fractal geometry and non linear mathematics that Chaos theory is based is "mathematical" as well. And who knows, there may even be a bit of mystery as well.

    Want What The Market Wants

I use the Alligator, Awesome Oscillator and Fractal. They are explained in Trading Chaos Second Edition by Bill Williams and/or you can get a free explanation at fractalsedge.com

    Want What The Market Wants

The course is 197 pages. It's free and I found it to be very informative before I delved deeper. I have no connection with quantum futures although I hear they're coming out with charts/indicators for fx trading in the near future. I do fine with the Chaos indicators on the FX Trek charts...

    Want What The Market Wants

Each word refers to some thing, or in the case of the word God, perhaps not a "thing" because all things change and the word God has been reported to refer to that which is beyond time and space. I have no opinion, and perhaps I'm "new age" (from your perspective) and don't know it. All I...

    Want What The Market Wants

"Fractal" was coined by Benoit Mandelbrot in 1975, referring to objects built using recursion, where some aspect of the limiting object is infinite and another is finite, and where at any iteration, some piece of the object is a scaled down version of the previous iteration. Is this what you...

    Want What The Market Wants

I've read all three of Williams' books. Never read anything about astrology. Underlying structure as he explores it in his books is in relation to trading and has to do with fractal geometry and non linear mathematics. That said, Williams would be the first to tell you that psychology is...

    Want What The Market Wants

I'm forming a small group of fx traders who have experience with or want to explore Bill Williams' methods of getting in tune with the universe/market. Anyone interested, contact me at . . . 7tradewynds (at) telus.net

    What is the "market"?

A market is created when two or more people agree on price but disagree on value. 50% of all contracts are in a winning position. 90% of traders lose long term. Interesting exploration, trying to figure out why. Perhaps one reason is most traders don't understand the underlying...

Is trading Gambling or not .."What say You" Vote here.

Last night I was watching on tv a profile of a world class poker player. He doesn't consider what he does gambling but said that poker players who are "gamblers" are usually the losers. Perhaps the same could be said of traders.
