That doesn't make any sense. Why would ET have a fake thread where the OP loses a ton of money? It would seem that would discourage people from trading...NOT encourage them. So your logic is amiss on this.
nah...the United States still has a lot of technology advantages that China still needs to steal before it equals America. You should know that living in Taiwan. :D
No offense...but you sound like those same people that compare the fall of the Roman Empire to the "impending" doom of America since "all empires must fall". The Roman Empire lasted for over 500 hundred years. Does that mean then that the American empire will last for another 300 years as well...
No it won't. The US has some of the best farmland in the world and some of the best resources to produce food. The US WILL NEVER have a food crisis. At least not in my lifetime. People greatly underestimate the natural resources that America has when they preach doomsday claims.
Actually...you are arguing precisely why there is deflation. When inflationary costs can't be passed down to consumers, you have deflation. It creates a dangerous downward spiral for companies as their profit margins fall, consumers continue hanging onto money waiting for even lower prices, and...
Hey bonehead...what does the deficit have to do with government jobs? The deficit is from overall mismanagement. Not because government jobs rose by 4% over 70 years. Nice strawman there dummy.
Don't worry...facts don't confuse me nearly as much as statistics seem to confuse you. You've been dazzled by a chart with two non-correlated variables.
I was talking in estimates...not absolutes...but thank you for trying to prove how smart you are and taking my statement literally. I stated that government jobs have grown at virtually the same rate...and I would say that a 4% freakn' difference over 70 years as qualifying as "virtually" the...
Why? It's a meaningless statistic. Why don't I just graph the position of Venus against it too...it would have the same correlation. :D
btw...you seemed to have glossed over my point that government jobs have also grown at virtually the same rate as population growth...so I guess it was just...
That chart is so misleading it's not even funny.
Number 1: The US population has more than tripled since 1939, so the government job per population is really not that different than it was in 1939.
Number 2: It highlights one industry. What about the millions of new jobs that have been...
