    Corn/Ethanol Crush

Atlas trades quite a bit of the ethanol crush OTC products. Not sure of all of the details, but I know they do decent volume. Progressive Fuels also does some, but I know very little about that company.

    Does anyone here trade FCOJ?

the pit is options only. Not sure of the volume in OJ options, but coffee and cotton always quote a fairly tight market in the options (as softs go). I've always gotten decent fills on options spreads, even on the electronic spread book

    Ag OTC markets / brokers

Like EMG said, try FCS. Atlas, First Capital, et al trade in these products. Depending on your structure (individual, hedge, corp), expect to have a minimum deposit of 1-3 mm, and a networth >5mm.

    Ag Options Qs

depends how advanced you need to get I suppose. Not an options expert myself, but you might ask Heech, I know he is very much involved in futures options trading. I use ProphetX and have used CQG...both offer options analysis with "what if" inputs to model price / vola changes etc. To...

    questions about grains trading

One of my favorite non-intraday strategies is cattle crush...always found it a lot easier to feed cattle on paper than in the feedyard...no death loss or high vaccination/antibiotic cost in Chicago :D

    commodity firm work environment

mgz: I've worked in both environments, cash trading and futures trading. The cash side CAN BE more of a sales position if you arent at the top, be aware of that. If you are more of an aggressive, independent type (as I am), the futures side will definitely fit your personality better. PM...

    Do Texans Trade Better?

as a born, raised, and very proud TEXAN (and cattle and grain trader), I completely agree....hard work and personal responsibility go far in any line of work, but especially in this one. And by the way...we do EVERYTHING better :)

    All Grains Limit Up Toady

You can use the calendar spreads if you don't have access to swaps. The CZ10/CZ12 calendar was used all day as the indicator for future CZ10 movement. OTC swaps went home indicating 5.66 -5.68 cz0.

    corn spreads

agree with local. With the early harvest, and country elevators needing to quick ship the bushels, especially in areas such as KS where big crops of corn, milo and beans are coming off directly following a large wheat crop that is still mostly in storage due to the sizeable carries.....those...
