The guy worked at an energy trading company. So it wasn't like he opened up an IB trading account and ran it up to $180M. Geez. Some people on here are so retail minded thinking. For an energy trading firm, a $180M might or might not be that big of profits.

geez! 1.5 point stop? It almost seems like you stop out as soon as you enter the trade the way NQ trades! I used around 10pts stop on NQ. Works fine. Sometimes that's wide and other times it's too tight. But most of the time it works.

i use tradersync. No affliation. I've used several other trade journals before. All of them have their pros and cons(tradersync included). Do google and try them out. I was getting tire of screenshotting.

Yep. I'm suprised it's 4%. I bet only 1% make a decent living mean at least over $100K/yr. Anything less than go get a fckin' job! Even new grads at top tech companies get close to $200K/yr(base+bonusm, benefits, RSUs, etc.) risk free.

As a daytrader, I don't really care about the daily chart since there are plenty of actions in the thousands of stocks in the market. But I'm just throwing a thought out there that it looks like the market might be choppy this year unless there is a big catalyst to cause it to trend nicely up...
