Tons of people caught short in the Euro Stoxx and Dax.

Very unusual trading in the Dax early on. Volume running at 3 t0 4 times the avergae run rate for the first hour.

One guy took down Amaranth, and the top brass at the fund let it happen. The other traders had little to do with the debacle.
