I have options trading on my account but you need to be able to write naked put and calls right and so far it does not let me.... Do you think also they make you place the transaction at one time? Or you buy one, then sell the other in 2 separate transactions....... THanks.

When you buy a call and sell a put at same strike and same expiry? Do people do this? Is it hard to get this allowed on your trading account? I ran some scenarios with an options calculator and it seems very good..... as long as you pick a stock that is going up :-) Thanks!

Sounds right. When apple was "surging" I was buying OTM by say 4 strikes for $2, wait till they hit 4, sell.... take 1/2 the profit and do it again! Most of the action happened within hours! :-) 1-2 days max! I made the mistake when it was $526? to buy $600's should have been more...

ok.... i never think of buying 1...... do you by many different options, and buy 1 each and spread the $ around.... I am trying to come up with a game plan for myself.... R.

I am new and was doing very well with aapl, till it turned on me! in 4 weeks turned 1K into 20K :-) then i boought my next batch of options that were always about $50 higher in the chain, but when aapl went backwards it screwed me up and now I am $80 out..... dang, to far out.... anyway it...
