A 60% increase in pps from Jan '07 to July '07 is a pos? Interesting perspective.

Crude costs are the main factor here, the crack spreads have been relatively terrible because of this. Gasoline supplies have been falling because of reduced production and maintenance, crude supplies are building for the same reason. If some semblance of logic ever returns to the crude futures...

Would you say that they have much more downside left then? If not, your namesake comes to mind (buy lo sell hi), buying calls or buying outright and selling covered calls might be a strategy here also.

    ALL In,Out Vs. AVERAGE In,Out

I think you are discounting scalps, daytrades or whatever terminology you want to use. No need to wait for any monster moves, identify a high probability set up with an exit target. Also have a plan if you are wrong, how long will you hold until the trade earns a profit vs closing it the same...

    ALL In,Out Vs. AVERAGE In,Out

All in, no stops, mostly. Here's why; if you aren't confident of the trade you're putting on, why do it? Scaling in/out is admitting defeat before you start, I just can't get past that mentality, it's like second guessing myself from the get go. No stops simply because it is too easy to...

    "Smart money watches Bloomberg"

I don't know who watches what, but Bloomberg is head and shoulders above CNBC imo. CNBC seems too gimmicky and ratings driven, the info on B/berg is very timely and their anchors aren't models converted to stock analysts, imho. In my not so humble opinion; CNBC sucks, but I guess there must...

No place to put all the oil in N. America

I don't understand how traders can put rbob and cl into a separate category than equities when it comes to price action. The excuse that there's never been a shortage of gas at your local gas station is funny; there's never been a shortage of goog at my broker either, yet those evil manipulators...
