Like any tools, you need to know how and when to use which tools. For example, if your stock is trending up slowly, use a slower MA keep you in the trade. But if the stock starts going parabolic, it is best to use a fast MA so you know sooner that the party is over.

I actually think futures offer too much leverage. Beginners blow up all the time from over leverage. I can lever up 3x based on notional value and still only using less than 25% of my buying powers.

It is a dead end job, don't do it. Electricity price tracks natural gas price. With the shale gas revolution and higher efficiency appliances, very difficult to make money and the entire power industry is in secular decline.

All my logic/system goes out of the window when I am trading emotionally. When I am logical, everything is crystal clear. I know exactly when to cut losses and when to let profit run.

I think Snap is more similar to Twitter than Groupon - engaged user base but difficult to monetize. All the younger people I know use it actively. Since it doesn't actively retain user-generated content, it is more akin to TV advertisement, doesn't have a targeted way to generate specific leads.

Reflecting back from all the relationships I had, I had to admit opposites were the more fun ones. In the end of the day, only things matter is if you love her, if she loves you, and if she has a good heart.

If you choose to not use stop, a word of advice - never average down or lever up more than 2-3x (account size vs notional value).
