Am I wrong then in assuming that a Broker will not frown upon this sort of "unfair" (in their eyes) behavior?
I was under the impression from reading this board that scalping was a BIG no no in the straight forex world...
I have read a few articles here about Scalping but still have some unanswered questions, help appreciated.
I'm finding using my trading platform and with careful use of stops, that trading the EURUSD I can often "scalp" 1-4 or 5 points by paying VERY close attention to the ticks screen.
I...
I see what you guys mean
USD just broke thru 1.20, triggered my buy signal... rode all the way up *50 points* within seconds... sweet
However I am a newbie using "Minilots" still a nice 50 USD profit :)
I'm also getting "rate not valid for conditional parent order" when trying to enter a stop...
This platform is frustratring me :)
Anybody know why these two restrictions apply?
These are SERIOUS issues for me as I need to implement Risk Management!!!
I cannot raise a stop limit above my initial entry price, thus I can't "lock in" profits, this has cost me...
Am I doing something wrong, or has the platform been engineered this way?
