Taxation of Futures Contracts Denominated in Foreign Currencies

Thanks for your reply, but can you explain more? Let's say for example I had profit of 5000 Euro, 5000 Yen, 5000 Swiss Franc from trading in futures contracts denominated in the respective currency. But, of course, I can't report my taxes in Yen! Therefore, how would I even give a dollar amount...

Taxation of Futures Contracts Denominated in Foreign Currencies

I am a client of Interactive Brokers and have been looking at trading equity index futures that trade in countries outside of the United States and are denominated in foreign currencies such as Euro. However, I cannot find any information on how much of a headache such trades will become at tax...

Can't find EOD data for MSCI emerging markets index

The MSCI emerging markets index is said to date back to 1988. However, I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find EOD data for it, despite Google! Does anyone have a resource?

Congress to change roth ira limits?

Don't forget that traditional iras are taxed as regular income upon withdrawal. Right now that's around 40% max, but it could be 75% or 90% at the whim of the politicians. I'd rather take my chances with the Roth. I think it will be much easier to raise the tax rate on the traditional ira...

Congress to change roth ira limits?

Apparently, congress is working on a new bill that would allow the "wealthy" to contribute to roth iras. Does anyone know the proposed new limits on max income to contribute?
