Have you looked into money.net?
I think it is about $30-45 a month, depending on which type of feed you need ($30 for ES, for example).
I *could* be wrong though...haven't actually signed up for it myself, so I don't know this from experience - only from their web page.
So people who have less than $25k have a way to daytrade.
BTW I have heard of several brokers letting customers daytrade with cash accounts. Meaning one roundtrip per day, each day (the money is not immediately available again all day long, like I assume it is with over 25k accts.).

You could try the DAS one at alliancetrader
You could try QuoteTracker (plugging in numbers using edit --> portfolio)
The above are for stocks.
I haven't found any simulators for futures. (But if you find one, post it here.) I did find a free trial account...
