I was just replying to scorpions' comment about "spammers" and making a general observation that the internet makes it easier for jerks to be jerks.... that's all!

I agree that there is a difference between "spamming" and being helpful (even if there might be self-interest involved). I know the firm where I work will have a S56 study program out on Monday, and I will gladly share my experience with it on this forum--- and if this community doesn't find it...

and maybe some of these waivers will get processed..... (fingers crossed)

There is a 59 page outline that covers what COULD be on the test.... the regs alone are over 1,000,000 words.

30 days after the first fail 60 after the second 180 after the third the hard part is that there is no STC guide and the 59 pg outline is WAY too daunting. ask your complaince dept if they are putting together a study guide for their traders... ours is.

Apply for a waiver. I am in the same boat.... applied last week.... still haven't heard back. In the meantime I am studying my butt off... just in case.

I can tell you that the test has been approved and is very very real. Some guys at my firm are taking it this week and obv I will pick their brains. As I hear anything I will post...

Has anyone heard back either way if they have gotten exemptions yet?
