    Simple System for Beginners

No problem...I can't really explain how he trades, tho. He's about 75% rules and 25% gut feelings. If you do a search on "retracements" on this site, I'd imagine you'd get plenty of results to read over. But, I think you'll discover retracements is a good trend following approach, and...

    Simple System for Beginners

I think there are plenty of winning methods out there. Take "retracements" for example. I believe a disiplined trader can make money with this method over the long run. But, if you ask..."How do I trade retracements?", only you can answer that. There must be a hundred ways, and my way may...

    Simple System for Beginners

I think sticking to your plan is a big part of the whole. Of course, I'm not saying you can just flip a coin (although some believe this) and make money if you stick to it. You need a method that's sound, such as breakouts, retracements, or reversals to name just a few. But, I've...

    Simple System for Beginners

Yeah, a lot of new traders believe that 90% number (actually, I believe it's closer to 80%) of traders that lose is because the market is to chaotic to trade. But, it's because 80% of traders can't follow their plan for more than a couple of weeks. Even this simple method you shared will...

Giving up is hard to do......

Don't feel bad...you ain't the only one. How many times have you seen anyone post legit profits. (or any profits) Think about it, if a bunch of traders were making dough, there would be screenshots all over this board of account statements or TWS's showing how good they are.

    MACD and PRICE divergence

Most traders I know define it as Price making a higher high or lower low, and some corresponding indicator (RSI, Stochastic, MACD...etc) making a Lower high or Higher low. You should be able to find plenty of info doing a google...

    MACD and PRICE divergence

Ya, in a flat market div works great. But, if you find yourself in a trending market, you best get prepared. Having five, six or seven losses in a row is not uncommon.

No problem, dude...have a nice weekend.

    Support and Resistance Levels

Not trying to nit-pick here, but you didn't use the word. You said pivots. That's why I asked you if you meant the S/R levels to be included in pivots. And, you said yes, if that's what I call them. And I said most traders call them S/R levels...

    Support and Resistance Levels

No offense, but I think that's what most traders call them...the Pivot and its corresponding Support and Resistance levels. And, as far as they're significance goes, I don't think you give them the weight they deserve. But, you're right, this discussion doesn't really belong on this...

    Support and Resistance Levels

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. When you say "PIVOTS", are you referring also to the S/R levels that are derived using the calculations I described?
