Just ask the manager or some senior guys at your prop firm to provide you with the proof of your track record. Shouldn't be a problem if you are in good terms with them.

It means you have to let the compliance guy know X days in advance of before you actually make the trade. X could be 3 - 5 business days of more depending on your firm.

Although I had only started to deal with them yesterday, I can already feel that they are totally fxxked up in CS. I called their Canada office, where I am opening an account, and NOOOOO one would pick up. So I called the US line, have the US person transfer me. Well, it is even worse talking...

You can't do anything if the stock is on your firm's restricted list, and you must trade throught a pre-approved broker. You also have to clear the trade with your compliance guy 3 days in advance and hold at least for a month I believe. Hope this helps.

Anyone know of a good risk management tool with standard deviation, sharpe, IR, and benchmark comparison etc...? I long/short equities and only have 100k. So pricing is a decisive factor.
