Relative is the Keyword here. When all countries' economy are slowing down b/c of US recession, USD will be relatively higher.

Just go look at USD/JPY awhile ago and where it is now.

You will see the whole FOREX world move when USD moves. It is going to freak out alot of people.

I crossed the ASK to cover 2 US option contracts thru SMART and it got routed to BOX this morning. COSTed me $2.30. It is usually $1.40ish. If anyone knows why, please tell me.

I just don't understand how putting a theme in TWS will make it more efficient for traders. It is better to put that effort on something else, like make "Booktrader" to work with Forex. Intergrating DowJones news service should also be on the top of the list. Money.net can provide the service...

It does more bad than good. TWS is slower.

Does anyone hate the new TWS with their annoying "theme"? I DO. The color is so annoying to a level that it is hard to read. If you also feel the same, please reply here. We should get enough feedback to get them to change it back or make a better "theme". Thanks.

They have had numerous problems with FX data lately. The resolve time is ranging from 1 to 3 days. :(

Does anyone notice the problem lately? I do a chart in TWS 6 months 1 day bar. I see a big missing data or gap in between 11/07 to 04/08. It has been 3rd day since I reported the problem to IB tech support. Nothing is fixed still. HELP!!!!

Try to trade forex with it. It doeesn't even work. TWS b833 is very slow. How does having a theme in TWS help traders? The color is irritating to the MAX.

How about Market News? Econ data, for example. Fed annoucement? Can we have a better newsfeed other than bonding it to a specific stock symbol? I don't see it too useful with the current implementation. One could agrue that if you want Mkt news and other stuff. You can go get a 3rd party...
