    Machine Learning Algo for Trading

MATLAB is super easy for the simpler machine learning algos as it is point and click but it is expensive and R is free. You can literally run the 5 or 6 algos in a matter of minutes in Matlab. The free version of Matlab called Octave does not have the point and click features. R and MATLAB both...

    Machine Learning Algo for Trading

All, I've been reading up and I want to post a correction to this post. It appears that Viola-jones has long been outdated and now convolutional neural networks are used for image detection. This does not require feature engineering. Also, most board games (other than Go) are essentially search...

    Machine Learning Algo for Trading

Absolutely not. You are way off the mark with comparing AlphaGo to trading and completely wrong that you can use raw data. Board games or video game play is an unsupervised machine learning problem, trading is a supervised machine learning problem. A win in a board game is the result of a series...

What if you go live and start losing money... Do you then owe that money?

    Patak Trading

Ok, I believe that, especially looking at how inexperienced some of these folks are. That would explain why they are willing to fund so many people since most will get booted after inevitably hitting their stop-loss. I'm too sleepy now, but maybe we should write a list here of all the traders...
