when you want to analyze each trade by trade what's the best way to correlate them in Excel then?

Fidelity's broker accounts provide history information where each transaction appears on a separate line and you'd have to parse that an correlate the trades yourself. Has anybody done this or have a better way of tracking performance when using Fidelity.

I'm noticing that the December 09 Active Trader has poor printing. Specifically rubbing the lettering results in the ink running. It doesn't take much compared to the September 09 issue.

Also take a look at ThinkDesktop by TOS which will work with ThinkOrSwim accounts or TD Ameritrade accounts. It is geared towards Futures and Options traders but it's the best broker provided platform I've seen in my travels.

Is simply generations behind other brokers software such as ThinkDesktop by ThinkorSwim or even TD's offerings. It's like using a DOS application most of the time with Fidelity's Active Trader Pro. I'd be very interested if there are successful traders that actually make money with this platform.

I'm just curious if anybody has an opinion on the value of articles in Active Trader magazine.

Isn't such a cross trade illegal and would be easily detected?

Just because Goldman predicts S&P will go higher by the end of the year the market goes nuts and rallys? Why on earth do they give Goldman so much credibility?
