Why the Volume Spike on Russell Rebalance Day for Stocks STAYING in Russell 2000

I understand why a stock going into or out of a Russell Index on the upcoming rebalance day would have a volume surge, especially on the close. But for stocks staying in the Russell 2000, there still seems to be a big surge, even for stocks that have not moved much during the previous year...

Tradestation Intelligent routing for CLO (on Close) orders: will I get the PRIMARY EXCHANGE's close?

four tenths of a cent a share IF one uses their flat fee $5 per trade (new flat rate as of today), no diff if one uses their per-share pricing as I unfortunately seem to need to do because I direct route a lot

Tradestation Intelligent routing for CLO (on Close) orders: will I get the PRIMARY EXCHANGE's close?

I tried it today with 100 shares and it did NOT go to the primary exchange (NYSE) and it executed at 4:00, not 4:02 when the NYSE closing cross occurred. Happened to be the same price, but that's random. So I guess I'm stuck with direct routing.

Tradestation Intelligent routing for CLO (on Close) orders: will I get the PRIMARY EXCHANGE's close?

In Tradestation, if I route an equities order to Intelligent and specify a duration of CLO (on the close), will my order always receive the PRIMARY EXCHANGE's closing price? I asked Tradestation this, and they said they couldn't guarantee it (they recommended routing to the primary exhange if I...

Stocknod.com is now updating correctly and includes the data for the previously missing days. Thanks to all who posted suggestions.

Where to find daily historical stock prices including percent change?

Thanks, that may help. I'm still hoping for a quick tool. Stocknod takes about 10 seconds; I hate it when things that worked no longer do.

Where to find daily historical stock prices including percent change?

Barchart looks like a good source, but I often like to look at a table rather than a chart. Barchart does have great table info for the last 5 days (or 5 weeks or 5 months, but not daily within that). Thanks.

Where to find daily historical stock prices including percent change?

Until last week I was using stocknod.com to get daily historical prices including percent change. But for some reason the data there now stops at 9/26/16. Anyone have another source? Note: Even a dollars and cents daily change without a percent change figure would be helpful. Since each...

Thanks, Tiddly, that's a better solution than what I was thinking of.

Question re IRS Form 8949 code for short dividends I paid

Tiddly, that IRS pub says: "If you close the short sale by the 45th day after the date of the short sale (1 year or less in the case of an extraordinary dividend), you cannot deduct the payment in lieu of the dividend you make to the lender. Instead, you must increase the basis of the stock...

Question re IRS Form 8949 code for short dividends I paid

In 2012 I shorted a stock where I had to pay $100 of dividends in lieu. I held the short position for less than 45 days, so I need to adjust the cost basis upward. Here's my question: I'm guessing that in column (f) I should put O, in column (g) I should put 100, and I should attach an...
