They got back to me and apparently I was in violation of the free riding rule. About real time settlement, I understand I will no longer be constrained by such rules anyway if I switch to a margin account.

I have a cash account. Today I closed a largish LSE stock (ETF) position. Then I tried buying EUR.USD (not CFD as far as I know) just so I would have an EUR balance in my account. I ultimately discarded this order before transmitting it.

Thanks, seems the correct solution is to use Wire Transfer (although it will not work with most brokers, who want the incoming transfer to be in your own name).

So I went to Settings > Transfer & Pay > Transfer Positions > Outgoing > DWAC and it seems I can only select Stock/Warrant/Bond as asset to transfer.
Is it possible to achieve want I want to do? Should I have...

So I simply create a new forex order to buy EURUSD (let's say 5000 EUR with USD) and then I would be able to withdraw them?

I would like to have an EUR sub-account where I would transfer/convert some USD (at a good broker rate) from my main account so that I could later withdraw some EUR.

I'm paper trading now, buying an ETF with a limit order (LMT) of let's say 5.055. The order fills successfully and then I go to "Account Window". There, when I look at my position I see an "Average Price" like 5.073. Why is this happening? Shouldn't my "Average Price" be equal or smaller...
