Ok - You can trade 6:1 (thanks Alphastocks and CReqURF8) with IB even from the U.S., this is great - But your account has to be diversified (Not my trading style but I can adjust to get 6:1). From what I've read about IB their charting stinks. Does anyone know of another Broker that does...

I talked with echo and they were only interested in a trader with a large amount of trades - I assume thats how they make their money. Anyways I've been doing alot of research on prop firms (bad reputation). Thanx

We'll you're right, up to 6 times on options if diversified, 3:1 on concentration risk (me) that is great. Too bad it doesn't work on equities. This could shoot my profits through the roof. Thanx again.

If I use 100% of my margin on trading and equity, I am still left with 1/3 of my account buying power for options. If I buy a call/put leap, it should be a safe way to add another 6% to my gain. Does anyone see a potential problem with this?

The ETF equivalent of the stock I trade doesn't move as much as the equity. Did you have something else in mind. I'm assuming you meant the ETF may have more volatility?

I am currently tracking ITM options Call and Puts and have noticed that I could have made a few percent more, (not able to use margin) but not sure it is worth the risk, got hit pretty hard trading options when I first started trading and am a little reluctant to try again. Thanx

I don't daytrade quite as well as I swing trade - I think I would have only one trade per day available - if I used 4:1 per trade, That may work and produce larger return, but I would have to work on a strategy. thanx

Does anyone know of a way to increase leverage on trading equities? More than 2:1 - My style is swing trading.
