Gotta love these "questions". Yep it's a guess just like everything in life. No guarantees with anything. However, there is something called odds. Increase the odds of a positive outcome of a "guess" through education, practice, skill, talent. Simple.

Every trader is different, but I personally busted a couple of accounts while learning. For my daily trade I stop for the day if I hit a loss equal to the amount of my target. For example, loose $200, I stop for day. Loose almost $200 and make most/all of it back (break even) I stop for the day...

I see where you are going and appreciate the offer but because the data sample is from such a small time window how do you know if the data contains anything relevant to how the symbol normally trades and the players ? In other words, was this a time period of exception ? Was it lunch or Open...

There are no edges because there are too many others out there who are smarter, richer and have more power than I who also see everything. I prefer to use the term "my trade" which is simply my technique that I find profitable and easy to use.

Have a passion for it. Trading as an independent is more fulfilling than as a prop. If can be boring at times - so consider isolating the times of day when you trade the best and take the other times off. I have obvious profitable patterns in my trading that can be correlated to certain market...

eh...think about it this way...the odds of becoming a mega billionaire are about handful in many billion (global population)...point is too much focus on oddities...rather focus on how to achieve more realistic goals like 1 in 100 then 1 in 1000 so on

Ok - it is a few days later than the original post and the majors have corrected quite a bit - so maybe that buying was the public coming in and the smart money selling into them that accounted for the high level 2 activity ? Just discussing, not flaming the original post.

A) IMO you cannot predict issues like slippage, no fills, crosses, order errors, etc, etc. So I have no idea how you are account for that. Not getting filled is a huge hurdle with the futures, especially on auto strategies. B) personally I would never run live a back tested system..wait..I mean...

Good question....let me think.....not in my experience from the dozens I have tried even as a prop. Experienced traders tend to stay away unless they have a financial motive to be in the room. New traders flock to them to gain experience, so rooms are full of bad alerts, noise, chat...

You can have 99 of 100 trades profitable and still loose money. No mention of draw downs which is odd. Heck, I can write an auto strategy in 2 minutes that is 100% - just have to wait for the price to hit the target - lol.
