Puddles, Would you mind posting up your watchlist? I'd like to get a sense of the setups your looking to play. Cheers.

What was this setup that you aren't seeing any more?

44.5% is fantastic. Nice work!!! With this strategy, 44.5% is extremely profitable. Do you have monthly or weekly stats you could post on your win rate? Glad you kept this going (both the trading and the journal), I really enjoy reading even though I don't always have the time to follow it...

Puddles, what's your overall win rate since you've been doing this? And, why did you make the decision to trade in a different style than geez? You're doing more breakouts, where he was doing reverals. Just curious. Cheers.

If we hold 1194, next target would be 1197. Beyond that looks much more challenging.

You also have a nice bottoming formation at that test (morningstar if you'd like). I like the odds of a bounce here at 1190 and getting that "rocket" to 1194.

Who do you guys think writes great investment commentaries? Obviously, we've all heard of and read Warren Buffet's commentaries. And, although they are well written and provide some interesting perspective, they are not very timely for investment purposes. I think Hayman Advisors writes...

are options really ZERO SUM GAME ? i don't think so

you have to look at each transaction individually and you can't look at lost opportunity cost. Start with the company doing an IPO. They sell stock to you at $10. Now you own all the stock and the company has a bunch of cash. There was no losing trader on the other side of the transaction...

    100% win strategy

Oldest concept in the book. It only leads to failure. Just run the numbers. What's your bet after say 7, 8 or 9 losses in a row. And, yes, this will happen (more often than you think). EVERYONE who has every tried this has lost a fortune. Are you willing to bet $256 to win $1? How...

Good place to heckle and shame the newb (fx)

Hi AyeYo, I've been reading through a bit of your thread and I have to say that I think you're playing a pretty dangerous game. You believe you have a good strategy that produces a high percentage of winners. So far, that's the only part of your total strategy that you have defined. And...
