I miss it too. I used to do the Linux specials with Patrick back in 2001... Man it's been awhile since I talked to those guys...

Oh man... that's harsh...

1. Using too much leverage. Every time I use too much leverage, I lose, yet I could position up a quarter of a lot, and God knows I'll make 300 pips. 2. Trying to front run my trading plan, when it's not a strategy that should be front runned...

Actually, no. Yes, I was quite happy. When the market tells me... :) I actually trade off of a couple different timeframes. One timeframe tells me which direction to trade based on the trend, and another actually defines my entry/exit signals.

You're doing alright... :) The nice thing about these pullbacks is that you could literally just have a strategy where all you do is trade pullbacks after new events for a profit target, and probably be successful with a fairly high probability rate... I, however, am a trend guy, so I'm...

Actually.... Everyone thinks that since it's hit new lows it HAS to move up. That's crowd and mania mentality. No one can predict it. Not you, not me, not my grandma. No one. For all we know, it could move another 200-300 pips or more within the next 24 hours. The only thing we CAN do...

Since most of the folks on this thread our long because they think it just absolutely, positively can't go any lower, I went short today. But actually, that's because I got a signal to go short, everyone on this thread was just extra confirmation... :p

Or rather, just stand off to the side. That's a position too.
