I would look for a place that lets you trade prop from home, and not from an office. I'm sure you can find that online.

I would consider trading at FXUC, they have great technology for managed accounts. I have used them for over a year, and love their platform. You could check them out at FXUC.com

I would try and go down and check out the place. Or if it's out of state or country try and call a few times and ask some questions, just to test their knowledge base. It's always important to trust your company, cause confidence in the company will lead to confidence in trading with them...

They're probably not allowed to take your money. It might be the deal they have with FXCM. Or a regulatory issue. Like canadians not being allowed to trade with optionsexpress or other brokerages in the States.

I don't know about them going through FXCM, but I do know that they are a great company. I have friends that do different trading there and really enjoy working for them.

I'm not 100% sure, and I believe that brokerages should be able to release the information you're looking for, but I think with Refco the fault doesn't just lie with them. But also with their regulating bodies, which failed us. It's up to them to know the necessary information to know a...
