SEC Charges 6 Firms for Short Selling Violations in Advance Stock Offerings

Most of these are big companies, but I don't think it's left and right hand not knowing the other exists. It's just more of the same from them.

    WMT

Nothing is normal when an entire industry is disrupted like this. Being a business that affects both consumers and companies across the board and losing revenue so fast is a first.

The Price of an M.B.A. at This School? Free

With an MBA - yes, for now. But in broader terms I think entire industries are changing too fast for universities and colleges to adapt and provide a "guarantee" - a diploma - that you are an expert in the field.

The Price of an M.B.A. at This School? Free

In a time where degrees are decreasing in value, this is just another step in the direction of online (and free) education.

    What's your process/method when valuing a stock?

All numbers are supplemented one way or another, but usually the big ones reflect where there is real impact - client shifts, new products etc. Net income is indeed clearer (as a rule of thumb.. in 70% of cases), but not always.

Longevity as a trader is something really hard to achieve. Though I'm not sure we're in the same race as these guys.

And here's an article about what the unemployed are really doing - http://qz.com/516023/if-nearly-40-of-americans-arent-working-what-are-they-doing/

    What's your process/method when valuing a stock?

I don't think these rules are old. They could possibly be complemented by some new social ratings to gauge sentiment, but not replaced. Not even displaced. My own process starts with a more general filter of companies that have a perceived edge both in fundamental and technical terms. Then I...

What is your opinion on binary options?

It's like playing roulette with three-four zeros. It's possible to win for a certain period by using forex knowledge, but it's the timing that gets you in the end with the expirations of the options. Steer clear.

    Instaforex does not process withdrawals

Heed the Forex Peace Army warning, keep sending them some emails, but don't put too much effort into it. But do your due diligence before depositing next time.

Saxo Bank is cheating customers after SNB removed EUR/CHF floor

It's funny how the image of Saxo has gone downhill in recent times, all this just confirms it..

How do you determine daily profit target?

What I'm trying to say is that markets have their own "time". As they are a collective representation of buying and selling by a large number of entities - and with algorithms it's not only people, banks and funds that are doing it - they don't necessarily follow the circadian rhythm of human...

How do you determine daily profit target?

The thing is, markets don't move on a day to day basis. Yes, there is spike or dip at the start and/or end of a trading session (obviously not for forex), but these tend to even out. This makes it pointless to have a daily p/l target. Which doesn't mean day trading doesn't have its merits, but...

S&P down 15%+ since the beginning of this year

Earnings and rate hike will probably make it harder for the bulls, but let's just see when exactly it'll come and what direction they'll point at.
