Do you use a Mac or Windows for trading ?

Don't forget musicians, graphic designers, photo editors, videographers, video editors. All of these groups of ppl find value in Macs and have specific software that either only works on mac or the versions on mac are better. Mac is the industry standards for ppl in these groups. I would argue...

Trading Technologies allows aggressive Limit Orders?

Why not just trade the most liquid contract? Also, why bother with the mobile version, it is more just a tool to manage positions if you do not have access to a real computer. The web and desktop versions are exponentially better than the mobile version. My biggest complaint about TT is...

Do you use a Mac or Windows for trading ?

Thanks! This is the post I needed to read. A few months ago, I wanted to go with an all mac setup, even an overpriced Pro Display XDR. I will just reinvent in my home office with a micro tower, then find a decent flagship laptop for my mobile solution.

Do you use a Mac or Windows for trading ?

It doesn't matter. Correct me if I am wrong, but only Windows has a desktop version. Without crossover on mac/linux or any other OS, you must use the cloud version of TT, which is fine, but not as robust as the desktop version. Running via crossover bootstrap or whatever it is called on Mac may...

    TopstepTrader Q & A

Bro, you have an unhealthy obsession with the evaluation companies. I log into ET like every 5 weeks, and checkout these topics and you are upset in like nearly every post! What gives? People by now should know what these companies business model is-- collect money from people taking the...

trading mostly based on price ladder/ depth of market

DOM scalping is still a viable strategy, the game has changed quite a bit, and you will have to continue to recreate your own edge. The old DOM strategies are mostly dead--- entering in current strategies that fit today's markets. For any would be scalper, it is more than worth the effort. You...

    Earn2Trade Founder Charged With Fraud

So you assume that the same techniques that CTAs and Hedge funds with their size and outlook are the standard for a trader not trading any larger than 1-8 contract, with a trailing drawdown, with the risk limitations imposed; You seem to not be anywhere near the map. Here is a clue-- start...

    Earn2Trade Founder Charged With Fraud

You are clueless if you do not know how to implement such a strategy, you likely have a myopic understanding of trading strategies. That is what take responsibility means. It also means that most traders will inevitably fail because they are not traders who can trade to that level. If a person...

    Earn2Trade Founder Charged With Fraud

I never said manly work or womanly work that is your silly frame. I said man up or woman up. Again, which means take RESPONSIBILITY. Using your body doesn't = manly womanly or whatever. It is just labor. Again-- since you can't understand. People cry and complain about these companies when they...

    Earn2Trade Founder Charged With Fraud

Of course they make 99% of their money from the failures/tryouts(combines). I didn't for a single second suggest they made money any other way. I'm speaking to the person who takes responsibility, who does the work, and then can pull a profit-- they are the ones who should be thankful for the...

    Earn2Trade Founder Charged With Fraud

LOL 80-90% of traders FAIL, this includes traders trained in 'REAL' prop firms, and according to one interview I just saw 50% of bank traders eventually get sent packing as well. Trading is hard, and is not for most people. Traders are stupid and take their gambling bad risk taking style of...

SMB Futures Tryout - good deal?

Why join these firms? If you want to trade larger than your wallet or risk tolerance can stomach. Alternative? Just fund a micro account and grow it over time. Perhaps add more size via your own income as well. Is it a scam? No. Most traders lose money, and these companies are not going to...

Trying to get that funded account

If It is the best DOM you have ever used, then you haven't used any quality DOMs! You can change the DOM interval size on TT. I also don't find Sierra's DOM to be fast, efficient, or well designed. Horrible UX/UI and definitely not the tool of a dedicated DOM scalper.

Trying to get that funded account

Or just use tradovate for charting and jigsaw for DOM. Sierra Charts has a crappy DOM, even after you set everything up to make it look decent. Sierra does have excellent charting and tools, but it is a bit clunky. I would say Sierra is a decent swiss army knife of discount store variety, but I...

I knew it was TST time I saw the Tradovate platform.
