Ninja + Zenfire vs Ninja + TT feed

I will attempt to clarify; Zen-Fire for CME mini's ( ES/NQ/etc ) is faster than TT. Zen-Fire data for Eurex is slower than TT. In any case, Zen is not a feasible alternative for me while the '99' issue remains unresolved. This is the conclusion of my own side-by-side testing of Zen vs...

Ninja + Zenfire vs Ninja + TT feed

The quality of the TT data you receive will depend upon who is maintaining the TT server you are receiving from, how much aggregation they use, their hardware, etc. For e-mini's on NinjaTrader I have seen nothing faster nor fuller than Zen-Fire data. Eurex, though, is another story. TT...

    best SIM to paper trade

Ninja is a phenomenal learning tool for paper traders. Make use of the performance reports, market replay function, and chart markers for best effect. Not so sure on opentick, never used it. Try Zenfire datafeed or even IB.

Which simulated trading software to use?

Ninjatrader is by far the best for simulated trading in my experience The wealth of information you get in terms of trader metrics (performance reports), and the visual nature of your entries/exits being marked on the charts provides instant feedback on your trading.

    Time or size priority ?

Hi guys. Quick question, hypothetical situation; If I were to put a 1 contract buy stop in on the ES at 1345.75, and someone else were to come in a few minutes later and put in a 100 contract order at the same price, do they jump ahead of me in the queue to be filled? As the title...

your thoughts on samsung 22" monitor?

No idea what you're talking about gnome... Simply a case of whacking it to the maximum supported res in the display properties window. For the 226bw, the maximum res is 1680x1050. Makes no odds to the graphics card, nothing unnatural about it. :)

1680x1050 i.e. the maximum res of the monitor.

your thoughts on samsung 22" monitor?

Bit of an old thread now but I'll add my bit for any future readers who may find it useful; I'm running Samsung 226BW's on a NVS 440 graphics card and couldn't be happier. Great screens, no eye strain, lovely. Do it.
