oh, okay.. i read right over the fixed fractional option in the pdf guide. that makes sense. so i can't set a specific pip stop amount, but i can set a percentage stop per trade. that'll work. thanks guys.

i used to use TradeRobot until they started charging like crazy. even though they're "autotraders", you still have to manage them religiously. just like a stock system.. if you let trades go wildly against you with gaping stop losses, let profitable trades reverse and turn negative without...

Can you set fixed stop losses on trades that have yet to open? I called tech support and asked the guy point-blank 4 times, and 4 times in a row he changed the subject. I tried to pin him down for a 5th time, and he gave a half-hearted 'yes' but you have to go live to see the feature...

the only reason i didn't go live with this prog was because the autotrade platform didn't have a trailing stop. i now see that the MT3 platform does. does MT3 allow fixed stop for trades that haven't opened yet?

I sold some 95 and 90 puts back when we were at 100. When Goldman slammed us down, I didn't sweat it at all. I'm sure they used to opportunity to load up @ 85.

yup, but not under Cyber. i trade a universal account with a good deal under a prop LLC.

that's my prop account. it starts at $0 every morning. in my retail account, it shows my cash balance.

yea, it was great. i made the penny on 60k to 80k blocks 3, sometimes 4 times a week. the occasional 100k's were few and far between, but it happened. at first, i'd get burned once a month. then as i got the hang of it, once every 3 months. and always for only a penny, and a partial lot...

yup, except i wouldn't always have to offer out. 3 times outta 5, the inside ECN would be a penny higher than my NYSE price-improved fill. i'd have my finger on the trigger ready to slam my shares on top of him immediately after i got my fill, and before he had the time to pull his bid...

i have 2 accounts at my firm.. one with per ticket pricing, and one per share. i just toggle back and forth on the same platform with a pulldown menu. the layout and everything else stays the same. yup, full rebates.
