met with the guys at smb capital, agree with the posts above, I knew more than these guys and all I saw was losses on their screens from trading that day. They led me to believe I could trade w/them with no money then after wasting my time said oh, "just for you it's only $5k for the training"...

I've traded equities in the US markets for awhile and want to expand to trade stocks in the European/Asia/Australian markets if at all possible. I know futures are the most popular, but I don't like trading futures. Has anyone done this or have any info to help my situation... much...

I've met with Ray a few times and they are a broker/dealer now, not any rumors there. Ray's seems like a good guy and been more than accomodating so far setting me up to trade with avatar. Once I start trading with them I'll let you know how it goes easymoney

Does anyone know the new emini russel 2k futures symbol for openecry users

Yes I am new to trading Futures, I've been trading equities for years, just now getting into futures. I just want to know if my monies will be insured/safe? I was going to trade futures with IB/Tradestation, but with $500 margin for es/nq/tf and 2k margin for CL Mirus looks like a good deal.

I don't see anywhere on Amp's or Velocity or OpenECry's websites references to SIPC insured accounts. I just want to know if I open an account with any of these brokerages if my money will be insured or if it is similar to a prop shop with equities? thanks ahead of time
