    Futures platform with EPIQ

Jigsaw and Sierra Charts show EPIQ. Rithmic shows your actual position in the queue, you can place and manage orders using your preferred software and watch the Rithmic DOM to see your order progress.

Looking for a list of US-based introducing brokers to Interactive Brokers LLC(US).

They do have Introducing Brokers. ProRealTime is one. They have their own commission structure, their own front end and they provide support. But you also get full IBKR facilities as well (TWS, portal). Statements and correspondence are all standard IBKR, but also include the introducing...

Best realtime data provider for E-Mini Futures and SPY

As I started this thread, I thought it would be appropriate to finish up. The difference I was seeing was in the way the client software was updating, not in the feeds themselves. So apologies for the wild goose chase. In the end I decided on Rithmic as it provides full depth of market...

Is a single exchange level 2 subscription sufficient?

I believe what you're asking is whether your current consolidated feed is going to be fundamentally different to a consolidated feed from another provider. Ignoring latency differences and the odd data discrepancy, the aim is to receive data that will give you the 'complete' picture of what is...

    Question about AMP Futures fees

I've seen somewhere that the fee changes for ES contracts if I avail of your $400 day trade margin. I seem to recall it being $3. Is this still the case? If so, what is the all-in commission fee for ES and MES contracts with your low $400/$40 margins?

    Question about AMP Futures fees

Thank you, perfect confirmation. 'Confused' was probably the wrong choice of word. 'Unsure' would have been better. The chart in isolation makes perfect sense. If they wouldn't have printed the separate $0.10 fee in addition to the main chart, I would not have questioned it.

    Question about AMP Futures fees

I'm confused because it specifically lists the $0.10 Trade Route fee in the top right. I don't understand why they thought it was important to specifically list the Trade Route fee but not the Exchange, Clearing, Commission or NFA fees. I would have expected either a full breakdown, or no...

    Question about AMP Futures fees

Looking at AMP Futures' All-in-one calculator https://portal.ampclearing.com/account/commissionquote.aspx It states $0.39 for a Micro E-Mini S&P 500 contract. It also states $0.10 for a CQG Trade route. I can't tell if the $0.39 includes the $0.10 or if it needs to be added. It is a bit...

I Got this one wrong guys.....

Sorry to hear that, but I would imagine the amount of speculators that did what you did would be enormous. I guess you (and they, and me) are part of the reason why the market is as high as it is now, we've all had to cover our short position.

Getting really frustrated, can't find a fully featured UK trading platform

You might want to see if IG with ProRealTime as the front end will provide what you need. ProRealTime has Level 2 display (better than Interactive Brokers' TWS Level 2 display) and it is possible IG provide Level 2 data to ProRealTime. I use ProRealTime with InteractiveBrokers and get Level 2...

    Trade data discrepancy (Tick Data)

The data is for backtesting price action strategies in the 1m to 1H range. It is being fed into a machine learning algorithm for identifying starts and ends of short-term intraday trends. It uses trade data (at tick level) to identify the patterns, and uses NBBO data for simulating placing a...

IB trader workstation worth learning ? or piece of junk ?

I scalp the 1-minute chart. It works great for me. I have hotkeys setup, can place limit and stop orders with one mouse-click, and it has proven a very reliable workhorse for managing trades. It is not charting software, but I'm fine with that as I like to keep my charting and analysis...

Best realtime data provider for E-Mini Futures and SPY

I agree with IB and I have no intention to move from them as my primary broker. Prorealtime offer a sponsored IB account where you get a standard IB account, but commissions are slightly cheaper and you get the PRT software for free plus support from PRT staff. You get all the standard IB...
