I'm a trader based in Amsterdam and mostly trade FDAX and de US indices and metals futures.
When i look at the CAC40, the trade volume is very good. I would like to trade it but i can't find any good , proffesional brokers /fcm's where i can trade it.
It's mostly the EToro, XTB, Trading12...
I bought 2 houses and a boat on the 2017 BTC bull run. And yes, i am a seasoned trader. Have been for 7 years now. But i trade CME futures 90% of the time. BTC overall is to small a market still.
Yes. I mostly arbitrage between the BTC perpetual futures contracts on the Bitmex, Deribit and FTX exchanges. Plus the term contracts on Deribit and Bitmex. BTC futures are mostly in contango, so it's a really good trade.
In Crypto, the exchange is the broker.
CME and ICE have got BTC futures contracts, which you can trade with all futures brokers ( with insane margin requirements). AMP included.
The reason i wanted to use TT is because they have Autospreader and arbitraging the leading Crypto exchanges is...
No. Again. There is no "supporting" or "gaining access". It's a TT platform feature, competitively separate from AMP as a broker. AMP disabled it, even though you pay for this feature. TT said i was right, and they enabled it just for my account, after they tried to let AMP fix this. Great...
They don't need to "access" anything. TT has listed some top Crypto exchanges. These are not CME or anything like that. TT has API to access to these exchanges. They got nothing to do with your AMP broker account. AMP disabled this feature, stating "We don't allow access", which is nutty...
I'm not a beginning trader. It was the other way around. I asked them the most basic of questions regarding cross account settings and accessing API for Bitcoin trading. All features that are supposed to be in TT, but AMP blocked (even though you pay full price for the TT licence at AMP) . They...
I did that. But then your TT subscription is managed by AMP. certain functions were disabled. Like adding API for crypto exchanges where disabled in the AMP managed version of TT. That was one of the reasons i left AMP. The service was really bad.
Thanks! I'm not so worried about meeting the FCM margin qualifications etc. I just have some bad experience with IB's like AMP and NT. I was told i could negotiate better commissions at a FCM. But maybe this has changed since IB's commissions have allready dropped so much.
