I usually try to change the topic but if pressed I say something like "I run a small private fund". It's weird: I am happy that I am a trader but the questions that statement elicits range from polite interest all the way to disbelief and the strangest of questions and comments. Because I really...
Probably some form of FDIC insurance but I don't know what it would take to make that happen. I don't hold out much hope of being made whole - the liquidator will probably soak up most of everything that is left at this point. It gutted me totally, still trying to catch up all these years later...
I might add that events like PFG stealing my account a few years back was pretty rough emotionally. (Still waiting for the last of that account, the liquidator is dragging it out as long as possible to maximize his fee.) The effect of that gutted me and it is still having an effect all these...

I would like to have a few charts permanently displayed on my Win 7 desktop, is that possible any more given the demise of desktop widgets? I have data access, all I want is some means of having small charts there all the time. Maybe along the lines of sparkcharts albeit a bit bigger would be...
Ah, it's just more whiny Democrat noises - "We were supposed to win and we are going to stamp our feet until we get what we want" kind of approach.
Personally I am delighted with President Trump who is actually doing what he said he would do as opposed to his worthless predecessor.
