What's the difference between swifttrade/title and American prop firms

Thanks a lot for your replies! I told them that I don't have enough information/experience to invest in fees and asked that they hire me with the condition that I'll pay the fees with my profits. We'll see if they accept.

What's the difference between swifttrade/title and American prop firms

    noob feed fee question

I'm looking to get into prop trading and have found an open position that costs $150 a month for a feed fee. They mentioned that this also goes against losses. Once I start, I'll get 50% and be able to move up from there. Is this standard, bad, good?

    Noob question

I've recently been offered a position with a prop trading company here in Canada. They want $300 upfront to cover 2 months for the data feed, and this will also be applied to start-up costs and losses. Is this standard, high or low?
