I heard from others that some brokerage houses are simply overwhelmed while markets are extremely volatile…. There are some other great options out there. I trade with @Cannon_Trading and during these uncertain times, I have been able to phone there office and while I have my main broker...
To be quite honest I don't think brokers sit at their desks and look over client accounts to see how each of their clients trade. Brokers make their living on commission and I'm sure other factors, I don't think their too concerned with how their clients trade as long as they trade within...
I fully agree. If you are planning on trading futures going forward invest in a PC and use your phone as a secondary. Also if you will be trading a friend's account or helping a friend with his account, make sure to have POA on the account...These brokers only seem to be following regulations...
It looks like the CME data overall is going up starting July 1st to $6.00 per exchange and $20.00 for the bundle. And if your broker offers $1.00 per exchange it goes up to $1.50 per exchange and $5.00 for the bundle.
As a trader, the E-Futures trading program I use is completely free and has top of the book CME data. I get pretty good margins as well. And the platform has pretty advanced settings for being a completely free platform. Definitely do your research with other brokers because I see that every...
I have an account with TD Ameritrade to trade stocks but I definitely do not trade futures with TD. TD Ameritrade usually requires half of the initial margin for all futures markets and it gets to be a bit expensive especially if your a day trader. You're going to want to use a broker who is...
I pay $3.00 for the CME bundle for top of the book on the platform I use called E-Futures. They give the option for the 10 deep on DOM but many times I really don't need it. It's always a great option to pay less :)
I really do enjoy the micro eminis. I think it's a great way to try out different strategies because the micro eminis does have great volume with minimal risk (using stops and limits). But if your going to trade 10 contracts of the micro eminis, might as well place trades on the eminis (also...
Dependent if you are looking to trade stocks or futures. With Stocks I think TD Ameritrade is a good brokerage to work with and I've been with them for years! TD has great customer service and they're platform is nice. I feel with Futures it really depends on the type of level of customer...
Agreed! Micro Futures really has the volume and volatility but small moves in your account to really learn the market movements with different reports that are released and new reactions etc. I think they're great when you want to participate in the market but keep your risk minimal.
I both buy and sell future options on the platform I use which is the E-Futures platform. My broker at Cannon Trading has to get me approved for the quantity I trade sometimes but usually with my account size and my trading ability it's usually not an issue. I know from some friends who have...
