Only found two trades this morning 11/20 JKS Puts with a strike price of 45. Sold 10@.15 And EOLS PUTS 11/20 Strike 2.00 20x.10 I had a basket of stock stocks to look at this morning. JKS was the only one that fell under my guidelines and EOLS the return was so high relative to risk I added...

We will see:) I am at 210 trades, Lets see where I am at on 500 trades. I have been handicapping sports online for over 20 years successfully. So, I am well aware of variance and failing methods. And the R/R is not lopsided when you consider the annualized ROR. Its actually pretty good. We...

Actually its a two day trade, from Thursday morning until it expires on Friday. Occasionally you can find a trade on Friday morning when the market opens, but its rare. Depending on the option you make from .05 to .15 per contract. But that is typically at least 1/2% over two days. As long as...

Now, since the market has been going straight up its hard to get those types of premiums...as you can see from only two trades this week

And actually I had some of my best trades during that period as the option premiums were sky high.

Yes, I trade every thursday. Have not missed a week since I began. You can see from the chart I had two periods. One was mostly a side ways movement from trade 85 to 105 . The other was my first real drawdown around trade 139 and it took until trade 180 to recover. That was from one of the...

Good, I have been trading in mostly CEF, that are discounted and have a good rate of return right now. Not many non interest bearing trades at the moment because of the election uncertainty.

    Selling puts

That's correct....but I do not trade unless there is at least a 15% difference between the price of the stock and the strike price. Ideally at least 20%. Which of course narrows it down. As an example, Thursday I sold 30 INO Puts @.05 with a strike price of 10.00. The stock was trading at 11.78...

    Selling puts

I am using Vanguard brokerage. Although, its not the best out there as the I am paying 1.00 a contract. But it is where my brokerage account is, and I have enough funds there to cover the margin on these trades. Although I always have enough in my account to cover the purchase if exercised. So...

    Selling puts

Not at all, I have been observing the options market and its like the sports betting market, there are inefficiencies, because of the mood of the investors. At least that is how I observe it. The market makers make the markets not on value but on supply demand.

    Selling puts

I started in January of this year. I took some time to refine it. But most of my trades have an annualized return of at least 40% up to 400% But again the sample size is very small at now 210 trades. When I started the premiums were much wider and I had from 5 to 12 sales going on. Now I am...

    Selling puts

I have been selling Weekly puts on Thursday that expire on friday the next day. I have been using Barchart.com for my screener which is fine but it is not real time. But it gives me an estimate of some options to look at Thursday morning. Then I use TOS to look at the pricing once the market...

    radar screen equivalent

Thanks for you help. I have come up with Market analyzer for ninja trader as a good alternative. And thought I had come up with a good rt data feed through ameritrade. The problem I have is ameritrade uses the - sign for a pref designation. The control panel in ninja trader recognizes this...

    radar screen equivalent

I didnt see that option on Ninja..but just downloaded it today to take a look at it. Also didnt see where you could add technical analysis to the Market analyzer. At 50.00 a month its about the same as tradestation without the 10 round turns. Is there a web based solution for all of...
